Jennifer Haley joined the River Institute in September 2008 as a Microbiologist/Educator.  She holds a B.Sc. Honours in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Western Ontario, and a M.Sc. degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Ottawa.  She teaches Microbiology and General Biology for the Environmental Technician program at St. Lawrence College (Cornwall campus), and Microbiology for the Bachelor of Nursing program (via Laurentian University).  In the laboratory, Jennifer is involved in method development and efficacy studies of bacteria in remediation processes, and she is also interested in issues related to waterborne bacteria and beach safety in the Cornwall area.
